sometimes it seems long ago
at times, just yesterday
a life changing meeting
set a million things in play

things I long to tell you
things I'd love to share
I feel you with me often
no matter who is there

from time to time
do I ever think of then
yes, it crosses my mind

that moment, a respite
natural, serene and free
blindsided, shaken and requited
twin souls by the sea

illuminating, creating
so much lost, was found
that which wasn't missing
unexpected, unrequested, so utterly profound

how much, so much
how much, soooo much
every single day
always going to miss it
forever I could have stayed

something of the fantasy
was more real than real
it spilled over into daily life
while spinning all the wheels

I often send you blessings
all is, as it should
be happy, healthy, thriving
life is beautiful and good
